George Hurst & Sons Limited was founded as a plumbing company in 1860 and it is only
in recent years that the building side of our business has overtaken the
plumbing and heating
side in terms of size.
We have therefore operated in the commercial and domestic sectors for many years
and can carry out small and large projects including design.
We employ time-served qualified GAS Safe registered tradesmen and have a regular
intake of apprentices to foster the continued development of our workforce. All of our tradesmen are capable of installing modern-day central heating
systems, ventilation systems, hot and cold water systems and sanitary ware and
of gas servicing to industry standards.
We offer a full-time installation service, repair and maintenance as well as a
callout service on a 24/7 basis 52 weeks a year. By working closely with our customers to understand their requirements we can
offer free quotations that meet their needs on a cost effective basis. Our clients include private housing associations, health authorities, building
contractors, private individuals, schools and hospitals.
One day we could be repairing a leaky tap in a private dwelling the next day we
could be installing a full heating, hot and cold water system, ventilation, air
conditioning and gas systems to a brand new school, such is the diversity of
our work and capability.
