We do not compensate for any lack of supervision by relying on the skills of the operatives but we recognise that a well-trained workforce is the key to effective delivery of quality work on time and to budget. This is the hallmark of our company in that unlike other contractors we employ our own skilled workforce which is made up of people who have worked for the company for many years.

This means that they have received training over the years to improve their skills and awareness on projects such as these. In 2011/12 we have developed and submitted a detailed training plan which sets out to deliver 290 days of formal training to a workforce of about seventy people including site managers, plumbers, joiners, bricklayers, ground workers, plant operatives and general operatives. This equates to approximately 3.5 days per employee and comprises one tool box talk per month.

In addition to the above we are proud to announce that 96% of our workforce now hold CSCS cards.
