In addition to undertaking all aspects of building and construction work, we also carry in house facilities for provision of a complete package of building management services, including Mechanical and Electrical specialist Engineering services.

We are able to provide a complete design and build package if required, to include Architectural and Structural Engineering Functions. Quantity surveying is also carried out in house and includes full client briefing and budget reporting facilities. Receipt, review, recording and valuing of Architects instructions and the preparation of valuations is computerised for maximum currency of information and expenditure forecasting.

 Training & Development
As a company, we are proud of our training and skills development policies. Over 142 years, throughout periods of varying economic fortune, we have always employed trades apprentices, adopting the traditional and proven practice of enabling local school leavers to work alongside time served trades people and attend our local technical colleges on day release for a period of 3 or 4 years. This regime has produced over 100 professional trade’s people many of whom are still in our employ. Last year, two of our "apprentices" retired at the age of 65 each with 50 years service.
